Buffalo River Maps You Shouldn’t Be Without!

I ran across these maps several years ago at local sporting goods store, (which has since gone out of business). Let me assure you…if you spend any time on the Buffalo River, hiking, floating, horseback riding or camping…you will want to invest in these maps!

These are topographic maps, based on USGS data, updated and customized to meet the unique features of this area. They are printed on tear resistant waterproof material, so they’re great to have on the river! I’ve had my set for about 6 years now, and they get opened and looked at every time we go to the Buffalo. One really nice feature is that they show the mileage along the river, so you will know exactly how far you’re floating, and where you’re at. Produced by National Geographic, you know they’re high quality!

These are a very inexpensive resource that you shouldn’t be with out. These maps would make great gifts for anyone you know that frequents the Buffalo River area.

One map covers the west half of the river, and the other covers the east half. Click on maps to find more information or to buy.

A map becomes essential if don’t live in the local area. If you live in South Europe as it is my case, only a map can help you to locate the State of Arkansas. I am planning to visit USA for the next year and I find interesting to know about local places as Buffalo River where you can do so many activities at the fresh air. How far is it from Grand Canyon National Park in Colorado? Perhaps I will visit both.
