I see quite a few people coming to this site in search of Buffalo River pictures or photographs. I actually have quite a few pictures in my collection, but the majority of them are photos taken of our crew at camp or playing in the water. Not exactly the kind of “scenic beauty” a person might be looking for! I do intend to make a trip to the River very soon to get more photos to add to this site.
In the meantime, I would like to recommend another site that you can check out for some fabulous photos of the river, as well as nature pictures from around Arkansas. Tim Ernst is a photographer & author that lives in the Buffalo River area. Over the years, he’s hiked many a mile around Arkansas, photographing nature at it’s finest. During that time, he’s put together beautiful calendars, guidebooks, picture books, screen savers, etc. Much of is work is for sale, (maybe all of it if you ask nicely ?). Tim is very personable and a great guy to deal with. Visit his site sometime and see what he has to offer.
